Flexibility and Work-Life Balance: Benefits and Challenges
The past few years have brought significant changes to the way we work with an increased desire for greater work-life balance and flexibility becoming the new norm for employees across all industries. These are not new concepts, but the question is, what do they mean now and how can employers adapt? Chris DiRico, Mid-Atlantic Employers’ Association HR Consultant, will join us to explore these concepts and their impact on employers and employees in today's workforce. We will discuss the ideas of remote work, flexible schedules, and job sharing, and look into the challenges that come with flexible work arrangements, such as maintaining work-life balance, staying connected with colleagues, and managing productivity.
Presenter: Chris DiRico, HR Consultant
Chris DiRico is a seasoned HR practitioner currently working with the MidAtlantic Employers’ Association (MEA) as an HR Consultant. Chris partners with his clients across all aspects of the Human Resources function, including HR Assessments, HR Outsourcing, guidance around employee relations, policy development, and more. Chris is a SHRM-certified professional who brings over 15 years of multi-faceted Human Resources experience in a variety of industries, including entertainment, education, automotive, warehousing & logistics, and healthcare. Chris has a keen understanding of the various challenges facing companies in today’s very competitive environment. Throughout his career, Chris has operated both as an HR Department of One and within a well-defined HR team. He has held various leadership roles and has served as a trusted advisor and communicator with all levels of management.
