    Employment Law Update and Forecast

    This seminar will discuss developments in New Jersey Employment law during the last year and pending or anticipated laws on the horizon. The seminar will include review of the following:

    • WARN Act updates
    • Salary History
    • Wage theft
    • Pregnant Workers Fairness Act
    • Paid/Unpaid Leaves
    • New Marijuana Legislation
    • CROWN Act
    • Proposed NJ Law Against Discrimination Amendments

    We will also explore some pending employment related legislation and advise employers how they can prepare for the implementation of these proposed laws.

    Eileen Oakes Muskett, Partner, Fox Rothschild LLP

    Eileen has an extensive litigation practice that encompasses mass tort, products liability, pharmaceutical and employment litigation. She represents clients at the administrative level as well as in the New Jersey Division on Civil Rights, the EEOC and state and federal courts in cases involving wrongful discharge, unemployment appeals, breach of contract, illegal harassment as well as retaliation and discrimination claims, including appearance-based discrimination. Eileen also assists clients in a preventative capacity, such as performing in-house training on anti-harassment issues, supervisory skills, family leave and how to implement discipline to employees. She also reviews company policies and employee handbooks and has assisted employers in reductions in force.
