Speaker – Alan Oberman:
Alan Oberman MSW, is the CEO of John Brooks Recovery Center (JBRC), a Non-Profit community based provider of recovery treatment services in Atlantic County, New Jersey.
Mr. Oberman has been with JBRC for the past 14 years and has worked in the field of addiction recovery since 1986. JBRC offers MAT, IOP as well as inpatient treatment to between 1100 and 1200 adults at any point in time. JBRC integrates MAT in all levels of care at its four sites. In addition to being a vocal advocate for both clients and treatment providers he has been in the forefront of innovative programming in N.J. JBRC was a leader in the provision of Narcan training, mobile methadone dispensing and most recently the first licensed, jail based methadone program in N.J. In 2016 JBRC completes the renovation of two outpatient sites and relocated its services from an antiquated building to state of the art centers.
Mr. Oberman is an active member of the NJ Professional Advisory Committee, as well as NJATOD, the Chairperson of the Integrated Care Advisory Panel for the Department of Health, and a Member of the Addiction Committee of the National Council.
