    Impact on Employers: The New Jersey Paid Sick Leave Law

    Join Fox Rothschild attorneys Eileen Oakes Muskett and Adam Busler for an overview enumerating the key points to the new law enacted by New Jersey Legislature and signed by Governor Phil Murphy requiring all employers, regardless of size or number of employees, to provide paid sick leave to all employees. Attend this session to prepare for the October 29, 2018 effective date.

    Eileen has an extensive litigation practice that encompasses mass tort, products liability, pharmaceutical and employment litigation. She represents clients at the administrative level as well as in the New Jersey Division on Civil Rights, the EEOC and state and federal courts in cases involving wrongful discharge, unemployment appeals, breach of contract, illegal harassment as well as retaliation and discrimination claims, including appearance-based discrimination. Eileen also assists clients in a preventative capacity, such as performing in-house training on anti-harassment issues, supervisory skills, family leave and how to implement discipline to employees. She also reviews company policies and employee handbooks and has assisted employers in reductions in force.
