Diversity in the workplace encompasses a range of elements. Differences in national origin, primary language, religion, social status and age can benefit or harm organizations. Managing diversity effectively is the key to leveraging the advantages and minimizing the disadvantages of diversity in the workplace.

Presenter Information
Name: Rose Ludgate PHR
With 30+ years of Human Resources/Training experience, Rose began her career in Boston, MA in Human Resources in the Hospitality Industry in positions in leading Hotels such as ITT Sheraton, Boston Harbor Hotel, Guest Quarters Suites, The Peabody Hotel Group and later joined the Regional Team of Boston Market. From there she joined Sodexho, a Food and Facility Management Service Co. as Regional HR, worked as HR Consultant at Innovative Leadership and is currently working in HR for Paychex Inc.
As an Executive Level HR Professional Rose was involved in the openings and conversions of hotels, companies and accounts. Her work experience in HR include: Recruitment, Employee Relations, Compliance, Strategic Planning and Development, Training and Coaching.
As an HR Professional Rose holds HR and Training Certifications in EEO, Diversity and Leadership. A graduate of Penn State University she is member of the American Society or Training and Development, Society for HRM and American Cancer Association.
